We are pleased to present the completed renovation of an HDB flat in Hougang, designed with simplicity, functionality, and warmth in mind. This project focused on creating a clean and inviting living space through a soft, neutral color palette, uncluttered layouts, and thoughtful details that enhance everyday comfort.
Living room
The design avoids overly elaborate elements, instead opting for a timeless aesthetic that prioritizes livability. Light tones and subtle textures were used throughout to create a bright and airy atmosphere, while functional storage solutions maintain a tidy and organized home. The kitchen and living areas were optimized for ease of use, with durable yet understated finishes that balance practicality with understated elegance.
KITCHEN
The kitchen renovation follows the home’s soft, light-filled aesthetic, featuring custom-made cabinetry in a soothing color palette with subtle curved edges for a gentle, modern touch. Designed for both functionality and visual harmony, the space maximizes every inch of available room through clever storage solutions and an efficient layout.
The light-toned cabinets create an airy and spacious feel, while the curved edges add a subtle design detail that softens the overall look. To enhance usability, we incorporated smart storage features such as deep drawers, pull-out shelves, and overhead cabinets that optimize vertical space. The countertops and backsplash were kept clean and minimalist, ensuring easy maintenance while complementing the kitchen’s serene vibe.
BEDROOM WITH BATHROOM
he bedroom embraces a minimalist yet sophisticated approach, featuring a floor-to-ceiling custom wardrobe with sleek glass panels and integrated LED lighting. This design not only maximizes storage but also adds a modern, luxurious touch—showcasing the homeowner’s style while keeping the space clutter-free. The soft ambient lighting enhances the room’s calming atmosphere, complementing the neutral color scheme for a serene retreat.
In the bathroom, simplicity meets practicality with a fresh, airy design. A custom vanity cabinet and basin provide streamlined storage, while the frameless shower screen neatly separates the wet area, maintaining an open and spacious feel. The clean lines, matte fittings, and neutral tones create a timeless look, with easy-to-maintain materials ensuring long-lasting beauty.
